History
In early 1987, after the Van Buren County EMT class of 1986, a couple of county residents got together and discussed the need of rescue services to be available to the entire county, due to the response times in the outlying areas of the county.
With the full support of the Van Buren County Fire Chiefs Association, the Van Buren County Rescue Squad was formed and became incorporated in 2002.
Our Mission
The mission of the Van Buren County Rescue Squad, Inc. is to provide competent and caring aid to the victims in an emergency situation. We dedicate our efforts to saving lives, delivering quality emergency services and providing community education and safety.
The success of the mission is dependent upon:
